Welcome to BST Classics ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and any classic car restoration work performed by BST Classics, located in Norwalk, Iowa.
By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services or website.
2. Our Services
BST Classics provides professional classic car restoration services including but not limited to:
- Complete frame-off restorations
- Custom classic builds and modifications
- Engine rebuilding and performance upgrades
- Body work and paint services
- Interior restoration and customization
- Regular maintenance and repair services
- Consultation and project planning
All work is performed at our 14,000-square-foot facility in Norwalk, Iowa, by qualified technicians with extensive experience in classic automotive restoration.
3. Estimates and Pricing
Initial estimates are provided based on visible condition and client requirements. Final pricing may vary due to:
- Hidden damage discovered during disassembly
- Additional work requested by the client
- Unforeseen complications or parts availability
- Changes in material or labor costs
We will notify you of any significant cost changes before proceeding with additional work. Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms are as follows:
- A deposit of 25% is required to begin work on restoration projects
- Additional payments may be required for major purchases (engines, transmissions, etc.)
- Final payment is due upon completion and delivery of the vehicle
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
- Payment plans may be available for larger projects (subject to approval)
Vehicles will not be released until all outstanding balances are paid in full.
5. Project Timeline and Delays
While we strive to meet estimated completion dates, restoration projects are complex and timelines may be affected by:
- Parts availability and shipping delays
- Unexpected damage requiring additional work
- Client approval delays for design decisions
- Weather conditions affecting paint work
- Subcontractor scheduling conflicts
We will keep you informed of any significant delays and revised timelines.
6. Warranty
BST Classics provides the following warranty coverage:
- Labor: 12 months or 12,000 miles on all mechanical work
- Paint and Body: 24 months against defects in materials or workmanship
- Parts: Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer and supplier
Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from accidents, misuse, or failure to follow recommended maintenance schedules. Warranty work must be performed at our facility.
7. Limitation of Liability
BST Classics carries comprehensive insurance coverage. However, our liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing conditions not disclosed during initial inspection
- Damage caused by normal wear and tear after delivery
- Consequential damages or loss of use
- Damage to personal items left in vehicles
8. Vehicle Storage and Security
Vehicles are stored in our secure, climate-controlled facility. We maintain comprehensive insurance coverage for vehicles in our care. However:
- Clients should maintain their own comprehensive insurance
- Storage fees may apply for vehicles left beyond 30 days after completion
- We reserve the right to move vehicles as needed for work efficiency
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of BST Classics or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
10. Privacy

11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last modified" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
